Beautiful Day

There are few words that can accurately describe how Kristel & Joon Heng’s wedding day went but, let us paint you a picture.
The air was a touch cold, gradually warming as the sun began to break through morning clouds, painting the sky with shades of pinks, purples and warm gold. Birds chirped their “good mornings” and you could faintly hear the cars in the distance; the rest of the world was waking up. As the sun climbed higher, rays of warmth delicately sparkled through the leaves of the ancient tree under which their wedding ceremony would take place.
And in their rooms, there was almost a reverent air as Kristel and Joon Heng began preparations for the day which echoed at their wedding ceremony, an event long in the making. But first, a slice of merriment as Joon Heng picked up his bride with a series of games and laughter. A simple, programme-free luncheon and tea ceremony followed the wedding ceremony where their guests were free to enjoy the food and each other’s company.
At the same time, with so much time freed up on their hands, we were able to steal both Kristel and Joon Heng away for an impromptu photoshoot that was supposed to be for a few minutes but lasted close to an hour. And they were such sports as we fought mosquitoes, rain-soaked mud and dry, crunchy leaves even though we were blessed with a constant, soothing breeze. But, we have to say that their efforts paid off because the resulting photos looked out of this world!
So, as we said, it’s hard to accurately describe Kristel and Joon Heng’s wedding day and even harder to capture just how much love, warmth and family flowed through every ceremony. But, we can definitely say it was an absolutely beautiful day.
